This workshop explores the practical elements of having to deal with 'gun shaped things' in the Theatre from sourcing to storing, operation, staging and all the paperwork procedures.

Rc-Annie developed the UK’s premier Theatrical Gun Handing course and are proud to have had a positive influence on the industry and how we approach the best working practices in Theatre.

WHO IS IT FOR?
Ideal for Stage Managers, technicians and theatre actors 
WHAT IS IT?
Detailed law: definitions, the VRCA, legal considerations. The handling: cleaning, loading, the firing of blank firers, dealing with gun fails, gun anatomy and the mechanics of how they work. The buying (choice), touring and storage. The staging: distances, the 4 rules, the dangers, the paperwork and procedures.
WHAT TO BRING?
Practical clothing with a sturdy belt and trousers with belt loops (like combat trousers). 
OUTCOME?
Each participant will receive a course booklet for their future reference. Practical understanding and safe operations of the Blank Firing handgun and other theatrical handguns.
