2 Monday Evening Sessions 7pm to 9pm.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Professional Actors. No experience of combat is necessary, just a willingness to play!
We will tailor classes to your ability.
WHAT IS IT?
Each session will focus on techniques that R+R believe are essential to performing safe, intention led, realistic violence.
Rachel and Ruth are often employed for their ability to create visceral unchoreographed looking violence such as their work on Maria Aberg's The Duchess of Malfi at the RSC, Matthew Dunster’s Imogen at Shakespeare’s Globe and Katie Mitchell’s productions of Cleansed and When We Have Sufficently Tortured Each Other at The National Theatre.
Whether you haven’t done any Stage Combat since drama school or have had extensive fight training, these masterclasses will challenge, inspire and arm you to get physical in your next rehearsal room.
Fight Direction Credits include: The RSC 2019 season. Emilia, True West (Vaudeville Theatre/Shakespeares Globe), Anna, When we Have Sufficiently Tortured Each Other (National Theatre), A Monster Calls (Bristol Old Vic), The Duchess of Malfi (RSC). CREDITS
Whether you you haven’t done any Stage Combat since drama school or have had extensive fight training, these masterclasses will challenge, inspire and arm you to get physical in your next rehearsal room.
