Rachel C Bown-Williams
Rachel has a fighting history! At the tender age of 8 she began her instruction in Shotokan Karate. After attaining a 1st Dan Black Belt she trained as an Actress at Rose Bruford College. She was then apprenticed as a Fight Assistant and gained her BADC qualified Teacher status.
Rachel works as a Fight Teacher, Choreographer and Performer. With experience spanning Film and Theatre, Rachel is passionate about fighting and its potential not only to teach discipline but also to thrill and delight audiences |

Ruth Cooper-Brown
Ruth has had a wide and varied career to date. First training in Theatre she began her fighting career 17 years ago as Maid Marian in Historical Entertainment. An invaluable experience, which introduced her to the tricks of the trade through a world of knockabout, illusion and circus side show. All this combined with working back stage in theatre and onstage as an actress has informed, and still influences her present work as a Fight Teacher, Fight Co-ordinator and member of the BADC committee. |
Rc-Annie’s Work
Rc-Annie is a Fight Company comprised of two Fight Arrangers and teachers Rachel Bown-Williams and Ruth Cooper-Brown. We choreograph fights for Stage and Screen, provide trained fighters, stand ins and Mo Cap artists. We also train performers and teach BADC affiliated qualification courses.
What Rc-Annie has been doing since its inception in October 2005
We have been busy with a mix of professional, independent and educational projects. We have worked for several prominent London Theatres in varying roles from advisors to choreographers: The Bush Theatre, The Roundhouse, Trafalgar Studios, The Barbican, The Donmar, and The Shaw Theatre. Notable Film production companies we have worked for include The Hunt for Gollum Internet Release Fan Film, The Musical Summertime with Tornado Films and Mo Cap for Poseidon. Our Corporate work includes Alton Towers the Pirates of Mutiny Bay and Swashbuckling aboard the Golden Hinde on London’s Southbank.
