SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

Rc-Annie have a commitment to training actors in the safe application and performance of Stage and Screen Combat. In order to encourage further training and investment in the art of Dramatic Action we are proud to present our first ever Stage Combat Scholarship. We are only offering this opportunity to Schools, theatre companies and Colleges that already see the value in training students in Stage Combat by already working with Rc-Annie Limited.

 

Purpose
To provide a scholarship to one deserving student a year from the Performing Arts industry, that will enable them to gain BADC Qualifications without having to pay any fees.

 

Criteria
1. Applicants must be students of a training school, theatre company or college that already works with Rc-
Annie Limited
2. Preference will be given to those who show a genuine financial need.

 

Application Process
1. A letter of recommendation from your current tutor.
2. A letter from the Applicant stating why they would like to be awarded the scholarship and how it will benefit them.
3. An essay on the importance of Stage/Screen combat in the entertainment arena. This may include a particular performance or film that features a fight.

About the Scholarship
The scholarship will give the student an opportunity to attend all of Rc-Annie’s BADC Certification courses and Fighting Form classes within the period of 1 year. This offer is exclusive of any travel, accommodation and food expenses.

 

Deadline

The deadline for scholarship applications is the 1st of August each year. Announcement of winner on the 1st of September for scholarship to commence thereafter for the period of one calendar year.
