Comedy Knockabout Brawlers

It all kicks off with a small public disagreement that degenerates throughout the day into full scale war! All walkabout are highly interactive and contain safe (area) staged violence.

ALL FOR ONE AND ONE FOR ALL

TIT FOR TAT

Two super serious Rapier Duellists with deadly intent are hunting one another. Once met the Code Duellos ensues as time, date and place are set (at a safe distance from audience, of course) OTT Errol Flynn style Swashbuckling continuously erupts, as the insult to their honour increases by each duel. Thankfully their honour is never satisfied to great comic effect.

OFFICE OFFENSIVE

The deadly serious high flyers from the City are enraged over sales margins. They start their day badly with a small altercation over a newspaper and as their hectic day unfolds their annoyance escalates with comic viciousness: from paper cuts to Umbrella and Brief case fights.

POOP DECKER’S

Comedy Walkabout characters who roam the ship all day. Two rivals: One ships captain and one scurvy knave to interact with the public, chatting about a day in their life on board ship including their duties. Their obvious disdain of one another will no doubt end in a full scale swashbuckling fight or ten between the two.

MILITARY MADNESS

From arriving and having to survive the rigours of Check Point Charlie. The highly professional service men burst into spontaneous marching, exercise and training drills at will. These soldiers are happy to shout at everybody that is until their Captain turns up and gives them a breasting.

SKULDUGGERY

Two lost pirates in search of their missing treasure soon discover they have the wrong map! It doesn’t take some before their frustrations are soon being taken out upon the other. From slapstick scuffles over the map to Sword Fighting with Cutlasses and the odd rubber fish thrown in!

FOOLISH FIGHTS

Two unarmed and out of work Jesters seeking employment and a free meal suddenly spy one another. The old rivals instantly erupt into fury over an unspecified ancient grudge. Using whatever weapon that comes to hand, with bread rolls and custard pies a plenty, they mercilessly wrestle each other into submission or until one narrowly escapes to jest another day.

A KNIGHT OFF

As you may imagine they are not the sharpest Lances in the saddle. Horrifically be-weaponed and torturously vain, the would be Knights of the Square table repeatedly beat the living daylights out of one another, with comic (foam, inflatable) weaponry at their portable home made tilt.

Storytelling

Casts of 2/3 for a duration of 20/30 minutes

Illuminated Storytelling

Like the Illuminated Manuscripts of old and reminiscent of a favourite, well loved, book of Fairy tales. The stories spread out beneath you like a comforting blanket. The vivid imagery and actions literally leap off the page at you. Watch the tales take on a life of their own as they spring from the written word.

Black Hearted Ballads

From the original dark Gests of Robin Hood to the shadowy morality tales of the Brothers Grimm. The narrator weaves you into a tapestry of rich characters and dastardly deeds, as the dust is blown off the covers and life is breathed back into the tales of old. Pirate tales range from Anne Bonney to Jack Sparrow.
